The main advantage of taking a high school credit privately at Wiz Kidz is the small class sizes. No more than 10 students are enrolled in each class which provides students with extra attention and a more personalized study plan. These small class sizes enable the students to express their concerns and/or feedback pertaining to the course material.
Students generally feel more comfortable asking questions or requesting further explanation of course materials in front of a smaller group. Many of our teachers at Wiz Kidz have also expressed their preference for the smaller class sizes as they have a better opportunity to get to know their students. They are also able to focus on specific aspects of the course with a more structured and personalized approach.
At Wiz Kidz, our teachers are instructed to keep close communication with the parents/guardians of the students enrolled. Parents/guardians will receive phone calls from the teacher every 3 weeks as well as a midterm and final report card.
Our main goal at Wiz Kidz is providing our students with the necessary skills required for university enrolment. We have developed course outlines that cover the curriculum with sufficient time for students to explore their new materials, and delve into areas of personal interest.
